I was getting so ancy for samurai goodness, that I was going to watch all three of my Afro-Samurai DVDs again. I LOVE Afro-Samurai (the afro doesn't hurt either), and had heard nothing but good things about Samurai Champloo which I kind of remember. I will be catching this on DVD.
In case you didn't know, I am a samurai fiend. I'm actually a fan of many different cultures/ideologies/ways of life, not just my own, and I thoroughly respect what samurais stood for. It's just that quiet dignity on the surface of a deadly ability that is so "cool" to me. I guess I dig it because I can relate. Now I cannot kill with a sword, but you get my drift *lol* I think it's cool in this day and age of YouTube-ry.
Any Afro-Samurai or Samurai Champloo fans out there?

You aren't alone! I'm borderline obsessed with Afro Samurai. To anyone who doesn't know of it, I can usually persuade them with the simple "Voice of Samuel L Jackson and music by the RZA" formula. Never fails.
Anyone else a fan of the soundtracks? I know that for me, both stay in regular rotation...
