This is a double post, but I figure I would start off with this asshat question directed at Kristinn at FreeRepublic.com (these people are MISERABLE):
To: kristinn
Meanwhile, Obama’s daughter is parading around in a peace t-shirt. What type of message does that send to our troops?

I can answer this question for this gentleman easy. They are probably thinking the same thing. They PROBABLY want peace so they can go home and see their families, and deal with the MYRIAD of issues that the inevitable PTSD will present. They probably want peace so they don't have to see anymore friends ripped to shreds, or children killed, or body parts.
See the problem with people is they think that soldiers, and vets like myself, are these emotionless sentinels who are content with death and carnage. We are trained to survive, we are not trained to enjoy killing. Anyone who enjoys that type of violence, is a little on the sick side.
There is nothing wrong with WANTING peace. There is nothing wrong with being a proponent of peace. Warmongers don't like that because it puts a spotlight on their sick fantasies and fetishes.
So if EXTREMIST has a problem with peace, maybe he should be over there and not here.
Malia and the Obama Family are "Ghetto" "Trash" and a Host of Other Racist Musings
The attack on Malia Obama and her family was so vile and putrid that even Kristinn at the Conservative Free Republic said, "It was not our finest hour."
No shit, Sherlock. Here's the rundown. As a PARENT, f*ck politics, I am DISGUSTED by these people and their comments. As a woman, I'm horrified by their misogyny, and as HUMAN, I'm very close to losing hope in the goodness of humans who label themselves "Conservative."
"A typical street whore." "A bunch of ghetto thugs." "Ghetto street trash." "Wonder when she will get her first abortion."
These are a small selection of some of the racially-charged comments posted to the conservative 'Free Republic' blog Thursday, aimed at U.S. President Barack Obama's 11-year-old daughter Malia after she was photographed wearing a t-shirt with a peace sign on the front.
The thread was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama speaking to Malia that featured the caption, "To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."
Though this may sound like the sort of thing one might read on an Aryan Nation or white power website, they actually appeared on what is commonly considered one of the prime online locations for U.S. Conservative grassroots political discussion and organizing - and for a short time, the comments seemed to have the okay of site administrators.
Moderators of the blog left the comments - and commenters - in place until a complaint was lodged by a writer doing research on the conservative movement, almost a full day later.
"Could you imagine what world leaders must be thinking seeing this kind of street trash and that we paid for this kind of street ghetto trash to go over there?" wrote one commenter.
"They make me sick .... The whole family... mammy, pappy, the free loadin' mammy-in-law, the misguided chillin', and especially 'lil cuz... This is not the America I want representin' my peeps," wrote another.
Such was the onslaught of derision on the site that the person who originally complained about the slurs, a Kristin N., claims only one comment in the first hundred posted actually criticized the remarks as inappropriate.
In typical form, the Free Republic decided to tie in how "liberals" attacked Sarah Palin and her children. Because Republicans never insulted her or her children, right???? Never that.
When I see the above picture, I see a young lady that I would want to marry one of my boys. I see a proud, beautiful young lady, confident and killing the natural hair twists. Her peace shirt is SO needed. Imagine, if more young black women were to use Malia as a "role model" in impoverished, black communities across the country, the change that could be made. If they could learn that self-love, assurance, confidence, and message that peace is better than the way of violence, imagine the amount of young black lives that could be saved this year alone from street violence.
Of course, "Freepers" don't get that because it's not about any of that for them. It's all about being subdued. Anything that challenges their way of thinking about black women, is too difficult for their underdeveloped brains to understand, so they revert back to stereotypes.
It's not like they are seeing one of the "tragic negroes" on YouKnowYouDeadAzzWrong. This is a smart young lady, who is carrying herself well and is only a tween.
"Yeah, well, you LIBS insulted Sarah Palin's daughters and Bush's daughters!"
Two wrongs don't make a right. That will always hold true. Secondly, I thought Letterman's comment's were inappropriate. I didn't get his joke about Bristol at all. I've come to see Bristol's potential with her speaking to teens about her choices. There's a bit of hope for her. As for Bush's daughters? They were on another level and seeing the pics of their Paris Hilton-like antics at the time, they brought that scrutiny on themselves, the same way any celebrity does when exiting a limo spread eagle with no underwear on, or being caught on tape drunk as hell and screwing up.
Malia is not even the same AGE as Bush's daughters, and I would like to think that Bristol and the Bush Twins would not appreciate what these neo-con neanderthals were writing about.
There are really trashy liberals, yes. I say time and time again, that I became progressive, along with my brother and Mr. Slim, because I am tired of both schools of thought. There are racist, sniveling, disgusting, mouthbreathers on both sides of the lines, and that's unfortunate.
Whatever excuses the FreeRepublic, wants to use, there's no excusing the racist comments on that site.
Malia has more class in one hair follicle, than the entire readership of the FreeRepublic.com. What's funny, is they fail to see how they proved that with their vitriol.

This was a good post. I heard some chatter about her and this t-shirt on twitter but I never paid it any mind. Am I surprised at the things they said on that site? Hell no I'm not. And I'm not because, well, they are a bunch of people who champion family values and stuff like that.
Yep, conservatives are not the type to be divisive or anything like that. Obviously the people who left those comments are trolls, or dare I say...Libruls?
Really great post. These guys want to wine about Palin but they say all this shit about Malia. SMH
Thanks guys. It's like that camp is incapable of rising above anything. It's always a tit for tat. It's some serious hate. It's one thing to present information as to why you are unhappy with the direction of the country, but to wax unpoetic about things like a child and to use racism, they can go straight to hell. This is why they will not win
I admire you for even being able to read those blogs. I try, but hate the taste of vomit in my mouth. I MISSED that pic! COOL. That family, forgive me for gushing, but so damn cool.
I really hate seeing "troops" "military" or "veterans" uttered by people who are nothing more than chicken hawks. They won't even serve stateside but have no problem sending other people's children to war abroad.
I don't even have the words for their attacks on an eleven-year old girl.
This is why I love this site and other great blogs because I am not sure any of his would of heard of this story. I just told a co-worker about this last night, and he says "your making it up?" When is this going to stop and when is enough of enough? She is a kid, where the hell did decorum go? We expect a certain amount of things to be said about Obama because we know that some people were not going to be happy to see him win but his child? What next, are they going to talk about his dead grandmother? I'm so done right now.
Excellent post! I love how people are responding to this article by saying that the reporter is a Republican plant who posts comments "just as racist" on other blogs. The source of this charge? FreeRepublic, of course!
This anonymous person posted a comment on my blog and I did what FR should've done: deleted it! LOL
Silly negroes.
Anon,
What's silly is you coming to this blog and attempting to and failing at trying to take this God instilled pride out of us. What's silly is you thinking you have lodged some kind of missile. LOL What a braveheart you are. Coming in all anonymous to tell us how silly we are. Are you aware that even white people read this blog? They must be negroes too huh? Truly pathetic. Make yourself known and get some kind of credibility. Until then, you're just another internet coward afraid of black people, without the spine to be honest about it.
Well if by ghetto he means having the education and the loving respectful relationship and being president of the us, then fuck sign me up anytime. I wonder what he called bush?? Oh wait I know a savior.
