This video elicited a strong emotion from me because I had lost all hope until the European lady--I want to say British--and her people took a stand.
This is what we are talking about. We are not talking about staging rallies for civil rights or talking about slavery. We are talking about having empathy for another human being, regardless of color.
I understand when people say they don't want to deal with confrontation, but this is someone's character and person being violated, and people stood by and did nothing, that is until two other white women raised hell.
I think it's telling that they were British--the ones who stood up for her the most strongly.
As for the other young lady, I am glad that she felt strongly about the discrimination. While she didn't react as strongly, at least she said something, and that is better than nothing.
NOBODY loves confrontation unless they are antisocial or sociopathic. This is one of those things where confrontational or not, you help out a fellow human being.
