Haiti Still Needs Help

Please continue to keep Haiti in your prayers and in your thoughts, because the situation is still critical. This is just heartbreaking to see the bodies of people strewn about, even if they are dead.

People are coming down on these people for becoming desperate and fighting ammongst themselves, but their situation is anything but normal. As we saw with Hurricane Katrina, desperation can lead to any number of desperate ACTS. I'm not judging them. I'm praying for them even more.

I've donated. Have you? Even if it's a dollar, it's something.

This whole situation has been difficult to deal with because I knew the sick fuckers would come out of the woodworks with racist, and classist, ideas about Haiti and Haitians. They don't use facts, they use their heightened sense of supremacy and ignorance to guide their arguments. The unfortunate thing is when confronted with irrefutable evidence, they hold on to their ignorance even more.

I became upset with someone after they hinted that they may have agreed with Pat Robertson's vitriolic rant against Haitians, blaming them for the Earthquake because of their pact with the devil. For days I didn't want to interact with this person, and had I not remembered that I am constantly seeking improvement spiritually as a Christian, I may have kept this person on ice.

Gosh, it must be nice to be that clueless!

What are some of the dumbest things you've heard in regards to Haiti and the Haitian people? Are you dealing with the same morons I'm dealing with?
