Join Us For Rippa's Roundtable Discussion on Successful Black Women and Health Care Reform

Click here to join us! Call in or join our chat room!

We'll be discussing health care reform (UGH!) and Helena Andrews' "Bitch is The New Black" book and successful black women being supposedly lonely and single.

Click here to read my post on Rippa's blog about black women and the constant need to emphasize our dating obstacles.

Join Us on Sunday April 27th for the Sunday Stew Radio Show...

We'll be discussing all the news that mattered this week. Normally, I will try to keep it to one subject or two, but there was too much fuckery this week.

- The fallout from the Miss California vs. Perez Hilton Gay Marriage Debate
- Updates on the tragic cases of Carl Joseph Walker Hoover and Jaheem Herrera
- Black women's sexuality (this will poke it's head in many convos so this will not be the first or last time you will hear it) and what it means to men, black and non-black.
- The fallout from the "kiss" seen 'round Missouri between a black man and a white woman.

I will be joined by Concerned, Angry, White Citizen and hopefully Mr. Remo McBones to give you three different perspectives: Black female, White male and Black male.

Fox News needs swagger like us lol.

UPDATE: The Sunday Stew Show on BlogTalkRadio! Tune In!

The good thing about cancelling last night's show (I just LOVE when folks drop in) is we were able to add a few more subjects we wanted to talk about.

In the Sunday Stew, we'll discuss what can be done to prevent other tragic suicides in the wake of Carl Joseph Walker Hoover's death, what our thoughts are about the Springfield community given the demographics and how it may have played in his being bullied, the demographics of the school and why I believe Carl Joseph never stood a chance if he was different in any form our fashion from the "status quo." We'll also discuss our thoughts on divestment and REINVESTMENT in safer, more worthwhile "assets" in the black community.
